Jana and her tool bench

Today Suz and I went to this huge used-baby stuff sale. It's at a church and there are 40ish "venders" who rent a booth and sell all their baby stuff that they want to get rid of. It turns out to be great deals. We did it last summer and got some great stuff for Jana, but this time we really scored! :-)

Jana is really into "helping" Daddy while he does projects around the house. She knows the names of most of the common tools and if they are left in reach she starts "helping."

So, when I saw this today, I knew she needed it (especially since it came with so many of the original pieces and an extra set (that included the tool belt)). Oh, Jana has been in heaven playing with this.

Please note that the tool belt needed to be put on immediately! Yes, she loves cars, balls, and tools, but she also likes her accessories. :-)

I don't know if you can tell, but on the tool bench, it has a saw, drill, place for gears to be turned, places for hammering nails and for screws. It even came with an electric screwdriver - which is her favorite.

The woman warned me that it had an off switch and that we'd really need it. Oh, how she was right. You can hear the song that Elmo sings in the video.
