Booboos, Pukies, a Hat, and Giggles

It's been an interesting week around here. First, let's start with the booboo.

Mama and Dada were folding laundry. Jana grabbed a pair of Dada's boxers and declared, "I'm a pretty princess" as she put them on. She pulled them up so the waist band was around her shoulders, with her arms tucked inside. She suddenly decided it was a good idea to do one of her famous knee drops (dropped straight down onto her knees from a standing position). Not a brilliant idea, worse when the momentum then carries her face into the floor. It was not a great parenting moment as we both couldn't keep from laughing, but this was the result.

That was Monday. Tuesday the girls were at Grandma and Grandpa while Mama worked. Kara puked on the way home and proceeded to puke 4 more times. Yuck. She decided wait after the first round of puking until we put her to bed before puking again, so that meant we had to wash the sheets and the precious blankie. So, while blankie was getting washed, she slept on Mama. She was miserable. Here is our acrobatic sleeper.

Then, Saturday morning Jana went to run some errands with Mama... and puked all over Mama and the Halloween Clearance aisle (ewwww!) in the middle of Target. Here's one miserable little girl.

Both Jana and Dada felt horrible, and Mama seemed to get a mild case of it; however, Kara was raring to go.

All summer, we couldn't get Kara to wear hats. She still rips them off and it's a battle to get her to keep any hood on. But, we now seem to have a winner now. She loves this hat and kept walking into the other room while Dada was sleeping to show him the hat. Too cute! (Don't you love the fabulous outfit? This was outfit number 4 for the day thanks to some really nasty diapers.



And finally, Uncle P and Auntie S posted a cute video of Ari giggling hysterically when Uncle P said "boo." Both girls loved it and we discovered that this cracked Kara up too. We had some wonderful giggles. Sorry for the shaky video. I was laughing too hard.
