Santa Pictures 2007

Trying to find a time to get holiday pictures taken is an adventure these days. Here's why.

Kara gets up at 7:30 or 8:00 and goes down for her nap at 10:00, sleeping until 12:30
Jana wakes up at 8:30 or 9:00 and goes down for her nap at 1:00, sleeping until 3:30 or 4:00.

So, needless to say, there is very little time when they are both awake and not really any good time to go when one shouldn't be napping.

We tried a 5:20 appointment. It worked, but not great. We started with our pics at jc penneys. Kara was not going to smile for anything. Jana was in a serious needing-mommy moment.

Once we finished with the holiday pics, we headed to see Santa.

Despite a family of screaming kids in front of us, Jana warmed up to Santa and we got some cute pictures. Take one look at Santa's shirt and you'll see why she warmed up to him - her two favorite things right now "socca bole" (as she says for a soccer ball) and "Dur-rah" (for Dora).

(Side note: This Santa is called a workshop Santa. Supposedly they are less intimidating to little ones that Santas in the full suit.)
