Kara's First Haircut

Kara got her first haircut this week. She did such a good job. Jim (who has cut Grandpa's hair and Daddy's hair for his entire life) did an amazing job and Kara said she was a pretty princess for the rest of the night. I'll have to add pictures of the actual haircut once I get them from Grandma and Grandpa, because Mommy and Daddy managed to leave the camera at Grammy and Papa's house. Oops! Thank goodness for cameras in cell phones.

We trimmed some off the back and angled it back from the front. She still very much as the baby hair, but she had some very long pieces in the back, so we evened it out.Here's the finished product.

Trimming it up has really brought out the curls.

But the highlight for sure was getting the lollipop when she was done.
