Seriously, where do we live?

I think Mother Nature mistook us for a place that actually gets snow. I mean, seriously, this is Oregon! What, do you think we have plows? We actually saw someone in their John Deere plowing. Gotta love small towns!

This is what we came home to, after the snow from the first set of pictures. We had something like 8 inches fall in one day. After snow, rain that turned into a layer of ice, and then a huge dumping of snow, we had 13" of snow.

Somewhere under there is our hedge that is at least one step height above our driveway.

Here is the lovely path that my wonderful husband shoveled for us. I don't know if you can see beyond our driveway, but he even shoveled our sidewalk... the only bare pavement visible for a week.

Thirteen inches at least in the backyard. Too bad we couldn't really play back there - watch out for landmines! Ewwww!

And finally a picture of our tree in the front yard - one of the few trees that didn't have serious damage in our neighborhood.
