New Jana Pictures (Sept. 06)

By now, I know you all realize how obsessed I am with my daughter, so here are some new pictures.

Here are some new pictures of my wonderful little girl.

First let's start with the food pictures...

mmmmm, rice cereal.



I actually liked rice cereal until I tasted banana. Who needs rice cereal when you can have banana?



Moving up in the world - It's now sweet potato. (Pardon the hideous pic of me. Ugh!)



Not so sure about this new flavor and texture, though. (If that pic of me doesn't kick me into action, I don't know what will.)




She's getting to be such a big girl now, I'm not sure I can handle it.

Vacations are wonderful

We just got back from Deer Lake, WA (about an hour outside of Spokane). We had such a wonderful time. Most of the fam on J's side was there. It was a blast. Baby J had a bunch of firsts. She tried a sippy cup for the first time and did great. She's even figured out how to suck on it because I didn't buy the drippy kind (oops). She laughed for the first time. She's doing great on her sitting. She rode a boat for the first time and swam in a like for the first time. She was absolutely awesome the whole time we were there. She struggled on the ride home because it took us two days (we had to get the dog from my parents' house on the way home). We had such a blast!
